Singapore is magic. We took the local bus to the Gardens by the Bay and the Sands Marina. It is a great place for walking, super safe, interesting sights and very nice and helpful people. Would go back in a minute. Don't miss China Town, Raffles is over rated and save your money and don't buy a Singapore Sling.
The city is very interesting. The National Museum is beautifully designed and a place to savor. Unfortunately, we only had a few minutes there. Loved the Central Market. The vendors were friendly without being pushy and they had good prices and we really enjoyed this portion of the trip. The tower was most rewarding. We enjoyed our tour guide. His English was pretty good and he gave us a good day. It was very very rushed due to time constraints. I wish we could have spent more time in this beautiful place.
