We loved St Maarten. We accidentally but happily met our Uncle Georgie vacationing at his time share at Little Bay. We were treated to a small tour of St Maarten with a perfect lunch at Skip Jacks on the water surrounded by yachts.
St Thomas was lovely but we shopped in the port more than we hung around the beach. The port has a series of shopping buildings. Lots of great jewelry.
We loved pulling into Nassau. The waters are so blue and our ship actually pulled in backwards in the harbor. Skills!!!Don't miss being outside to see the arrival. Make sure to try Fish Fry for very authentic and local foods, especially conch salad.
Straw market is a fun stop but a little draining with the hawking of goods. Make sure you see the hand carved items along the strip of the straw market. These people are incredible artists and the value of their art is worth a purchase.
