LIFOU was LOVELY. We opted for the new Vanilla House tour and it was wonderful. The bus ride over was pleasant, scenic, relaxing. Our tour guide at the Vanilla House was knowledgeable and while he apologized for his English, he was easily understood. This tour was well worth the money and time and I hope that they get a good portion of the fee that is charged. What a good industry for that small and oh, so lovely island. Friendly people, picture postcard scenery! Beautiful.

PT. VILA - didn't really tour at all or spend any significant amount of time other than in their airport. I will say that we were fortunate to have had a great taxi driver, Fredde. Took his name and number and will definitely give him a call when next we visit.
