The best port of the trip beaches beautiful for swimming, Annaberg Sugar plantation interesting. The shops are of high quality, beautiful art galleries not too touristy.
A fasinating port with 2 old Spanish forts, quaint streets to explore. Shopping good and not over priced. The architecture and colurs of the buildings are beautiful.
Unfortunately we arrived on Sunday everywhere closed looked rather sad. Took a local bus to St Marteen the Dutch side of the island much more alive. The local bus is cheap, fun and goes from the French to the Dutch part of the island.
A lovely island interesting shops near the port, fruit and veg market good. Take a local bus to English Harbour, full of history, nice pubs,coffee shops and book shop. Fun to walk around and look at all the yachts.
