The excursion was very nice and our first time snorkeling. We were driven 30 minutes from Freeport to Barbary Beach, kayaked out to a tiny island, Peterson Cay, and snorkeled with 2 guides for about an hour and a half. We returned to Freeport with just enough time to check out their one attraction, Senor Frogs. All in all, a great day (given that we should have been in Half Moon Cay...).
The only port on our original schedule--if only all 3 had been like this one!! (They were supposed to be.) Nassau was gorgeous and warm and we were able to lay on the beach, drink, go in the water, walk around and look at a few aquariums, etc. We opted not to buy the Aquaventure passes but we wanted to relax on our last day and had a wonderful time. I would sooner come back just to Nassau than trust Carnival to take me there again.
