I like to see the real parts of a port and Labadee is just a beach facility that Royal Caribbean developed for cruises. We took a catamaran tour of some of the coastal areas but did not see any real villages, except for Labadee village, at some distance. Labadee is just another tourist attraction with shopping being the main reason to put in to this port.
We are not shoppers so we were not especially impressed with that and being an older couple do not participate in the beach activities.
We took a walking tour of Falmouth with a young lady named Simone who was a Falmouth native. She was very pleasant and gave us some good information on the area. We liked the tour because we could see the citizens up close and walk through their neighborhoods, seeing points of interest and hearing some historical facts about the architecture, products of the area etc.
