Key West is for shopping. We didn't do much here because we already live in Florida but if you're looking for shopping, get off here. The beach bars are fun and its a beautiful island. This was our only enjoyable port because I got extremely sick the next day.
Just don't bother yourself with getting off here. We only got off so I could get my feet back on the earth after being sick for days. We literally walked onto the island and walked back to the boat. The economy has tanked and the people are extremely aggressive with trying to sell you stuff and excursions. They try to separate your from you party and we have a dozen or so people offer us drugs. It's not worth getting off the boat. We heard from another couple that went inland to shop and they said the shopping areas are boarded up.
