Such a great port to visit for historical experiences! Yes, it is a pretty dirty port, but it is one to see and experience! The beaches are gorgeous, but the Mayan ruins are extraordinary. The shopping a bit on the expensive side but this is deffinitley a port you do not need to book an excursion for, walking around the city is just as fun and adventurous!

Unfortunatly, this port is sort of in the middle of no where on the coast of Mexico. To me, its more of an "excuse" kind of port, just somewhere extra the cruise lines have incase another port gets cancled, which in this case Belize did! Costa maya was a bit cleaner than cozumel and the port itself was a hotspot to party in! There was no need to leave, plenty of bars, a huge public pool, plenty of shopping and even a dolphin encounter right there! YES! All in the port of Costa Maya! The parties in the port made this day so much fun. As a recomendation, stay in the port on this day, you will have a LOT of fun and save a ton of money.

Again, this was a place where you deffinitley wanted to stay in port! Coming into Honduras was more than beautiful, it was breathtaking! The mist in the mountains was beautiful, the scenery was green and tropical, maybe a little too tropical! Being 30 miles from the equator has its disadvantages, it was too rainy. But once we got off the ship, the port was beautiful! So many things to do, and it turns out that there is a private beach right within the port that you can either walk to OR take a ski lift to! We wish someone would have told us before we spent all this money to take a 45 minute ride thorugh the mountains of honduras, all the way to Tabyana Beach! Not worth it...the only thing we enojoyed was the ride there and back to see the beautiful scenery. But again, the port was deffinitley the hotspot, and the shopping center was great!Next time we go, zip lining is in the adventure, everyone that zip lined said it was fantastic!

The caymans was so great, we are planning a trip back! We actually want to fly into the caymans and stay for a few days thats how beautiful and fun it was! It is kept up so well, the people are extremely nice, and its one of the most beautiful places ive ever been to! Do excursions, explore this port as much as you can, incuding the beaches and the water, breathtaking!

Booked through carnival: Stingray City and Rum Point Beach

Best port and best excursion of the whole trip! Stingrays were surrounding me, i was holding massive ones in my arms, and the scariest thing...is that they are wild! It was such an extraordinary time, the ocean is just too beautiful!!! Rum point beach was extremly nice, kept up clean, and the food was great too, but expensive! The beach was gorgeous, but the best part was being all the way at the tip of the caymans. Caymans is now my favorite port, EVER!
