20 minute walk to the sky tower. Arrived on a public holiday so nothing was open apart from a couple of souviner shops and the skytower. To the right near the ship down by the marina is a phone box. There is an ATM there too.
Bike hire at the port. $25 for the time at the port. Tie bike up at the end and hope they are ok and you dont get charged anymore. Free wifi in the very centre of town. HOT water pool at the caravan park. Beautiful beaches and mountain to climb. A lovely marina town.
Walk out through the shed at the port and you walk into Port Chambers. A beautiful little town. Library and museum at the port. Hire the hop on hop off bus at the port. You will get to see alot of Dunedin and surrounds this way and save yourself alot of walking. Dunedin is 20 minutes away by bus. A pretty little town. Many shops and souvinir shops. Beautiful railway station. Good supermarket closeby and cadburys chocolate factory.
