Ok, kind of crowded. First thing we saw when we were pulling up in the transfer boat was trucks and things under construction. Not very tropical island like, not a great first impression. Alot of the palm trees were quite damaged from the hurricane, some browned and most leaves missing. The beach was also very crowded, and the beach chairs were so close together, you have to climb into them and flop. Not very comfortable when your wet and covered in sand. The island bbq building was not very close to where the beach was. It was quite a walk to get to and walk back from. Food was typical bbq food, burgers hotdogs and chicken, and some sort of dried up pizza. We also ordered a drink from one of the few drink waiters, and he came back 20 mins later, after we watched him gossiping with one bartender and another waiter with our drink in hand, melting. There were also a few straw market huts with non NCL employees selling the same stuff we saw at the first to islands. I wish they were selling Castaway Cay stuff, not more Bahamian stuff. It was an ok island overall.
