We visited Mare- Loyalty Islands, which was a new port for both Carnival and p&O. You could tell because the locals were quite overwhelmed by all the visitors from the cruise. They had one bus tour available. The tour we organised privately was cancelled i believe the locals aren't ready to show the whole island to all and I don't blame them! Beautiful beach!!
Next was Isle of Pines and it was like out of a postcard - just gorgeous and great for snorkelling. Must try the lobster and the banana fritters and the local beer called One.
Last port was Noumea - we booked a tour with NoumeaShore Tours Gateaway tours on facebook and Trip Advisor. We did the city sights tour and it was fantastic. Alfred was a laugh- he was such a happy guy!We loved the bakery he took us to it's french so what would you expect!
We stopped by the group of cafes near the harbour and sat and had some french wine, a nice end to our day in Noumea.
