An excellent Segway excursion which is highly recommended. The Segway is simple to learn and use effectively inside of 15 minutes and then the actual excursion fun starts. Irrespective of your age and fitness level, the Segway is a MUST!!!
Took the Segway Tour here as well and this was also excellent. The route of this excursion sees the Segway taken on a more hilly route with fabulous photo opportunities from high up of the island.
A good port experience with an exceptional coral and then shipwreck snorkelling experience reached by a 20 min catamaran ride.
The beach swim was located at a beach reach after another 20 min cat ride located closer to the actual port so the ride back to the ship after this swim was shorter.
The port is well designed and at this time of the year (31st Dec)it boasted all the large private yachts of the rich and famous around the world - this was a sight to behold indeed.
There's not much to do at this port save for a few excursions; we took the Yellow Submarine ride and this was very pleasant indeed with much marine life viewed.
At this time of the year we felt that the cruise line could have arranged that we were catered for by way or a fireworks display arranged by the ship itself; as matters stood nothing notable was arranged and the ship "hung around" at the port so that we view the fireworks arranged by some billionaire who was visiting the island. The problem with this is that this was not ideally viewable from the ship anchored way out in the bay. The on-board party could also have been better spiced up too... A Club-Med ship parked next to ours seemed to be having far more party and dancing fun than us with disco lights to boot!
Modern port with a good experience. Took a Botanical Gardens excursion as there wasn't much of an excursion choice here and this turned out to be quite boring and not really worth the time spent.
Puerto Rico boasts a good outlet mall which could rather have been placed as an option/excursion for those who would have rather chosen to shop due to the dearth of excursions at this location.
This is essentially a private island used by the Seabourn Cruise line together with their sister cruise lines such as Carnival.
The experience here was truly exceptional with Seabourn going all the way to make our day special. We took a para-sailing excursion which was wonderful, followed by champagne and caviar served in the water on the beach by the food staff from the ship, followed by an exceptional barbecue lunch which was very well prepared.
A suggestion would have been for the ship to arrange the Jet-Ski excursion as well so that this was available in the excursion menu, which it was not , unfortunately. The group island does cater for Jet-Ski excursions located 5 minutes away by tram ride.
An excellent day well spent... Even the great weather was ordered by Seabourn!
