Cozumel
Port Rating:
If shopping is your thing, Cozumel is your place. It's not really a beach stop, although you can do that. It's sort of like visiting a Mexican border town on a Caribbean island minus the craziness. There are places to eat, drink and make merry. It's hard to pass up a dollar beer. There are places where a shill invites you into the shop to look around. Mexican silver, leather, textiles and tequila are prominent, as are many farmacia at which to procure American prescription drugs from Viagra to eyedrops at bargain prices. Another nice pick-up is Mexican coffee. Otherwise, rent a Harley or scooter, go fishing, take an island tour, see the Mayan ruins...it's Mexico. Enjoy yourself!

Grand Cayman
Port Rating:
Seven Mile Beach...oh, and there's the sea turtle farm, dolphin show, rum cake factory, and Hell. Do the loop once, and next time(s) directly to the beach, one of the world's ten best on most lists.

Falmouth
Port Rating:
OK, we passed through Falmouth. Our group went on the Irie Jam Private Tour excursion with Marva Shaw, who picked us up inside the port area. We had a fine day, off to Dunn's Falls, tubing and shopping near Ocho Rios, and lunch at the Ultimate Jerk Centre on our return trip. The bus was clean, our driver and guide, Hardy and Carlene, were both engaging and part of the fun.
