At first Vigo does not appear at all enticing, but once you get to know your way around it becomes more appealing and has some very good shops and restaurants.
We have visited Funchal many times but have never experienced such a wonderful atmosphere with Christmas stalls and decorations everywhere - it really was quite amazing - we would have liked longer there and wish the ship could have spent a couple of days, which could easily have been arranged considering we had more sea days than port days!
