A few words of advice: beware the "free" water taxi ride. One company promised a $2 water taxi ride roundtrip, BUT, you have to pay $1 to get on the dock to where the $2 water taxis were, then in order for them to come back and get you, you have to have spent $10 at their bar. Otherwise, the bartenders will not call for them to come and get you. Also, do NOT pre-pay anyone, because they will not come back to pick you up, regardless of how many times they promise they will. We met a couple who was waiting for the water taxi to come back and pick them up at 2, and it was already 2:30. NOTHING IS FREE.

There are some docks that they take you to where you must pay them $1 to get off the water taxi. This was a first for us.

Even so, we LOVE Cabo. :D Beer is always cold, people are friendly, and we are never disappointed. Vendors are numerous and persistent, but every time we go we just have so much fun.

Port Rating:

We took a cab into town and the bus back to the ship. The bus drivers know right where to get off and are happy to talk to you. It costs you about $.60 to take the bus, but about $10 for a cab. Use the buses that say 'Wal Mart' coming back because Wal Mart is right across the street from the cruise terminal. Then you know you are on the right bus. Get on the white bus with the blue top.

Good shopping and really nice beach bars.
