Follow your instinct when stopping for food as we were disappointed when we stopped for tapas.

We used the hop on hop off bus. Stopped off at the Colosseum and were blown away at the sights. We had a tour around inside, there were people offering tours where you did not have to join the queue going inside for 25 euros each and it was well worth the money.

There is plenty of time to get to Rome and back.
