Crowded bus dropped us off near Ron Jon Surf Shop. Did some shopping (we needed a corkscrew) and then went to the beach. Water was too cold to swim in and beach was crowded. Nothing interesting to do or see on the beach. Had a nice lunch at the Sandbar Sports Grill. Note: if you say yes to your picture being taken - it will cost you :(

We arrived around 1 pm on New Years day and half the town was shut down. Locals were cleaning up after the parade - which we were too late for - at least it would have been interesting. Stayed in town for 30 minutes after dealing with a local forcing "free" bracelets on us - "Every one gets one. I cannot take money for them...unless you want to give a donation to the children."

Weather and beach were nice. Saw some cool fish and a sting ray. Just listen for the screams of both men and women and follow that to the fish. BBQ was a disappointment - salads were already out at 10 am and there was limited options for vegetarians.

Returned to ship after 2 hours.
