Enjoyed this even though we have done it before. It is the best spot for photographs. Unfortunately the nature walk and other areas were under construction but it was still worth the $.
I was expecting more from this island. We took a boat/bus tour over to the French side and perhaps should have stayed on the Dutch side. There wasn't much to see other than yachts and sailing boats. Of course, on the bus, they are pointing things out but you don't get to take pictures.
Unfortunately the excursion was cancelled, but then it rained heavily and got very cold so we did a little souvenir shopping and got back onto the ship. We had planned parasailing and then the sealion encounter. We'll try again next time. Visiting Nassau itself is ok if you just want to do a little shopping but you need an excursion to get a better idea of the real Bahamas.
