Not much to do here as it was Christmas Day and most places were closed. We did walk around the port and noticed quite a few improvements were made since our last visit there.
This is my favorite port and coincidentally on this, our fifth time here, we found the same taxi driver. A perfect gentleman and very accommodating. He took us to Orient Beach where we spent most of the day at the Sun Beach Clubber. Loved this place as it is very clean and the food was excellent and the staff outstanding. We had a set time to be picked up and he took us on a tour over to the airport beach to watch a few planes come in. We had seen this on television and decided we had to go there. One of the best days of the entire trip.
We have been here many times as well and, because of the distance to St. John and the short time we would spend there, we went to Magens Bay once again as there was not much time. We spent a lovely day there then went downtown for some shopping and lunch at Cuzzins.
The last port, Samana, is not listed but we took a tour over to Cayo Leventado and were very happy we did as we had heard the downtown area was not the greates. The beach was beautiful and there was a restaurant on-site that served the most delicious fried fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the beach.
