Took a bus up to Islands of Adventure. We were there on a Tuesday, so the park was really quiet. We were able to walk right onto all of the rides. Longest wait was 5 minutes. Definately worth the ride up, we had plenty of time to explore the whole park.
When we got off the boat we took a private island tour. The tour director was really nice, but we were not very impressed with the island. We went over to Atlantis, but were not able to go past the casino or back deck. Afterwards he dropped us off at Junkanoo Beach. It was okay, but lots of rocks and shells on the beach that made it hard to access the water barefoot. The highlight of the day was Senor Frogs.
Chad picked us up directly off the boat. Unfortunately other groups who had booked were not on time meeting the tour guides and we had to wait for them. This seemed to put the whole tour a little off schedule and kind of rushed (not Chad's fault). He took us on a tour around the island then over to see where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. We stopped at an old abandoned restaurant and got fresh coconuts. After we went to a secluded beach where we snorkeled and kayaked. A delicious lunch was provided. On the way back we stopped at Lucayan National Park. Great time for all ages.
