The port stop in Ensenada was just plain awful. I checked out TripAdvisor and googled the port before we left and could find nothing of interest. It appears there is nothing to recommend this port stop but bars - and just about everyone there tries to warn you away from them. We did do a private pay bus trip to La Bufadora ($30 for all 4 of us) - which we were told would take 2 hours but was really closer to 4. The trip out was 45 mins and you are given 90 mins to look at the water and shop then travel 45 mins back. Not worth it at all. Maybe the winery trip would be worth it but I read the excursion reviews posted on Carnival.com before going and it didn't sound like anyone thought so. I would have been much happier stopping in San Diego! I'm guessing they continue to go to this Ensenada port because of some regulations regarding gambling or their international registration rather than because people are enjoying the port. It has nothing to offer.
