Good but overpriced by ten - twenty dollars or so..and felt extremely obligated to tip..so where does the money we paid for the excursion go..if the raft men all wanted more money. All tour operators seem to offer it for the same prices approximately..so someones making money and are the rafters themselves?
Good..but would have preferred to go to a remote beach rather than the Playa beach on the tour.Mayan ruins were excellent..we left the group and walked them all, rather than just part of them, which i would suggest doing. Cozumel seems to be all about shopping for nick knacks sadly none of them that inexpensive these days as with most ports or markets on such islands but! Go do it if you find time!
Wonderful.Awesome.Not over touristy yet. You know you are in Central America in this port.. Never once felt obligated or pressured into giving tips either. We left our tour group as they were supposed to give us 3 and 1/2 hours on our own and only gave us 2 and 1/2 o 3 hours. So we didn't rejoin the group and were glad we didn't. We had a fabulous tome and recommend to anyone..just get into a taxi and explore.Great snorkeling right off the shore further along in West Bay..and also West End is charming.Lots to see and lots to do whatever you choose.I recommend tipping,on shore,as still a very small poor community in parts.
