We were in Athens when they were rioting, and a taxi and Metro strike. We got on one of the hop on hop off tours offered outside the port. Once again, the other passengers were very rude about getting on the bus.
The port itself is beautiful and we ended up getting a small van to take a group of us around to Oia, it was amazing to be in the postcard! Once again pushing, and shoving trying to get back on the ship.
We shared a cab with 2 of our dinner companions. Very charming city, hard to believe it was so war torn. Came across a really cool outdoor market and bought some wonderful dried fruit. Walked the top of the city wall.
