Some of the people were quite rude and arugmentative when you didn't want to take a taxi into town. It's a very easy walk into town and after being on ship, we just wanted to walk around. My mom is 87 and I'd tell them that it was hard for her to sit in a taxi for a long time and keep getting in and out so we didn't want to go on a tour. They'd say that's obviously not true as she obviously sits on the ship. I'd say that's why we wanted to walk around. It was like that the whole walk into town. She was very uncomfortable. One guy said that if we weren't going to buy anything or do a tour then we shouldn't come to their island. However, the police at the crossing walks were wonderful and made you feel welcome.
