We swam with the Sea Lions on St. Thomas and it had to be the most incredible thing we have ever done. We have swam with dolphin, Stingray, shark and Sea Turtles but this was amazing! Do it if you have the chance at Coral World!!
We had 1 hour playing with them and over 1 hour in the water with these fabulous creatures! There was a group of 8 people with 4 sea lions!!!!!!
We have been to Friars Beach in April on the Serenade of the Seas. The monkeys were fun to see but the beach is nothing to brag about at all! This time we decided to head to Frigate Beach. The beach is large, clean and well managed by "Clinton" a native that caters to your every whim! We paid $5.00 per beach chair with an Umbrella. He will call a cab for you when your ready to leave! Great Beach! Not crowded!
We have been to Aruba 4 times. We have always gone to Palm Beach and loved it. The beach is usually really crowded so this time we tried EAGLE BEACH. WOW...what a HUGE quiet clean beach! Our chairs with Umbrella were $15.00 Have the cab driver drop you off at the resort on Eagle Beach. The resort attendant will come over and take your money for the chairs.
Make sure you take a REAL cab and not this guy that drives a little blue car. He never showed back up to return us to the ship like promised. We flagged a cab coming past us! The cab ride is only $10.00 each way.
Here is a GREAT little secret for all of you! When your ship docks. Look out over the island to the right. You will see a resort with an infinity pool called the Renaissance. After you are done shopping on the GREAT island head over to the Renaissance and pay to use their facilities rather than a beach tour. We paid $75.00 total and used the Olympic size sand infinity pool on their beach all day. We had lunch and drinks and were in heaven!
