Due to prior issues with the propulsion of this ship, we arrived at San Juan at 5 PM, rather than 3 PM as in past cruises. We did not plan an excursion, and walked the town until about 6:30, as we did not want to be out much after dark.
We arrived at this port at 10 AM rather than the usual 9 AM. Had we had an outside excursion this may have been an issue. We did not plan an excursion and only used the water taxi to get to town, where we enjoyed strolling and also walked the beach.
Once again, no excursion, only walking the town. The captain announced that an alarm had sounded as we were expecting to leave at 5 PM, which delayed departure by a half hour or so.
