Our first time to this Island (another one off the bucket list) and it was worth the wait. We took a tour from the ship this time as we just weren't sure what to do. We snorkeled in Norman bay. The tour guide was excellent. Norman bay is where the rich and famous like to play. There were amazing ships and the guide took us to the famous floating watering hole in the bay for a drink and an opportunity to purchase a shirt.... During the tour we were given some time to hang out on the beach. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST STUNNING BEACHES I HAVE EVER SEEN. It was very quiet and extraordinarily private and clean. The water was outstanding and this is the place I would return too without hesitation.

We have been there many times. So this time we just went to the main beach. $25 for 2 chairs and a bucket of beer. Pretty good really. But I would recommend going to Maho Beach which is famous for being on the runway. If you like planes coming and going that is the place for you. I found the water to be nice... but murky....

We did a Scooter rental in a previous trip and toured the island which was a lot of fun.

We took a taxi to Cockleshell beach. It was a beautiful drive, and the beach was outstanding. We found and brought home a Conch shell that we found on the beach. The water was really nice and quite secluded. A highlight was trying the local food. There is a lttle "shack" in the area we were in which was on the right side of the beach (we found the shell on the far left side). We tried the King Fish grilled with the owners own Barbeque sauce which was so amazing that it was bottled and sold in local grocery stores. We had to pick up some for $5

Although the ships crew seems to discourage this port and offered no information about it... we went to St Anne's beach and it was beautiful- lots of locals and even shopping on the beach. We had an amazing beach experience, the water was beautiful. Actually one of the best beaches I have been too. Make sure to not go to the "Club Med" part of the beach though as there is nothing there to do. The only drawback? This is a topless beach and you know its always the ones that shouldn't go topless that do ! so if it offends you this might not be the beach for you or your kids. But it is a Stunner ! and really shouldn't be missed.
