San Juan
Port Rating:
We spent only 5 hours in port (arrived at 3pm, left at 9pm). Walked around some of the streets (called back home as our cells worked there!), went to some shops and had a wonderful dinner at a tapas restaurant. The nightlife was so festive as we got back to the pier, with dancing and music, a very nice place, but too short of a stay.

St. Maarten
Port Rating:
We didn't venture outside the port city, took a water taxi from the pier to the beaches which was nice and affordable ($7/person roundtrip). Walked around the shops some, took in some sun and beach, water seemed too cold to go swimming by the time we made way to beach (3pm). Had lunch at a fairly authentic Jamaican place.

St. Thomas
Port Rating:
Walked around port city, its very American, with very American prices to boot! Spent $50 on lunch alone! We did go up to see the synagogue, and by up I mean UP, it was a hike uphill! It was nice to hear the history of the Jews in St. Thomas, and to walk around on the sandy floor (only 4 in the world have this!) And the views from this hill were beautiful. Wished we had more time here, as we would have tried to make it to Magens Bay which I hear is beautiful, and to take the Skyride to the top of the island.
