Having lived on Paris for three year and visited Normandy on several occasions, it was a challenge to figure out something to do for the day in LeHavre. But no worries. RentCar has a facility at the port and while a bit expensive provides a way to get a car without wasting time. We had a fine day touring Honfleur and St Catherine's wooden church, driving along the coast then down to the Cider Route. Some fine cider and some great cheese (real camembert and pont leveque) No need to spend a lot of money on the Cruise lines overpriced tours
Lisbon and surrounds are worth the trip. On the recommendation of Cruise Critic members, we booked with"We Hate Tourism Tours" in Lisbon. What a great day.
Cicar car rental agency at the port is excellent choice for a reasonably priced vehicle well maintained. we had been to Tenerife before so had to do something other than Mount Tiede. Went to Orotava, very picturesque town but tough parking. Drove the lovely northern coast, excellent paella at small restaurant up the coast.
