Why do they stop here? We arrived at 3 and just walked around as we had been here several times before. We found a Holocaust Memorial and some interesting statues of American Presidents who had visited Puerto Rico over the years. Otherwise, nothing is new.
I love the beach so this port is one of my favorite. We decided to venture to a different beach this time so we went to Simpson. The water was lovely and we had the beach to ourselves, collected some good shells and watched the planes take off and land. Its a nice long beach but a bit of a pain to get to. We ended up downtown as usual and went into a few shops.
Really loved this island, it reminded me of Hawaii. The scenery is beautiful. We got in a taxi with some people who were going to the MArriott. After dropping them off, we went to Cockleshell Beach. It had a lovely view and was much calmer than the Atlantic side. The water was great and there were some nice shells to collect. It never got crowded.
