My DW and DD did the Royal Dolphin Swim and had a blast. Booked 2-for-1 online and saved $470 for the 4 people who went. You pay $109 for photos, but the savings made the purchase easier to bear. My daughter said it was the highlight of the trip.
We did a snorkeling excursion through Coral Breeze. It was great. Went to two sites. First was a spectacular coral reef where we saw a large sting ray, two eels, a baby barracuda and hundreds of other fish. Our guide even grabbed a lobster. Second site was sting ray alley, which also features some nurse shocks. The sting rays were everywhere. We saw a couple of nurse sharks as well. Also spent 2 hours on Caye Caulker before returning to port.
Zip line tour through South Shore. It was fantastic!! Did 12 lines with three guides. There was five of us who zipped, while my DW and DD did the eco walk. We then were transported to a beach to spend a couple of hours.
Just didn't get to spend much time here as the ship only docked from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. By the time we got off the ship and took a taxi to the beach, we only had 3 hours left to enjoy. Francisco was very nice. He is the manager and provided us with chairs and non-alcoholic drinks. You can book a package to include alcohol. We also rented wave runners for a half-hour. Cost $50. Beach was nice, but not as nice as Roatan or other Caribbean ports such as Barbados or Antigua.
