Over 2 hour bus ride up to crater; beautiful view; we were told to expect a temperature drop but not that temperature would drop 30 degrees and be very windy! It was 45degrees F, and many people weren't dressed warmly!
We paid for tour but elected not to take it since we arrived with only 30 minutes of daylight left; and we didn't want to walk around town in the dark for security reasons. There is a "barn" on the dock with souvenir stands, so we walked in there and then got back on the boat.
