While in Fort Lauderdale we did a number of exciting things including the wonderful water taxi, shopping, lunch and dinner at a number of great restaurants. We also visited a few shopping centres.
When we visited Nassau we walked to Junkanoo Beach. It was not the greatest public beach but they were just recovering from Hurricane Sandy. We found a sandy spot and spent several hours swimming in the sea. It was nice.
When we arrived in St. Thomas we hired Lennox Merrifield with his lovely van and he took us to Coki Beach which was a 20 minute drive. He told us a great deal of the history of the island and also showed us some beautiful areas along the way to the beach. Once we arrived at the beach Michelle looked after us making sure we had an umbrella, beach lounges and cold drinks. She also took our lunch order and we spent a wonderful day swimming in the 82 F water and enjoying the sunshine. We visited all of the shops and met Nayda who designed some wonderful beachwear.
