Overall: Would have preferred that this port was skipped so as to provide more time at sea or in port in the bahamas. People who want to visit the theme parks and NASA should do a separate trip or a trip that gives them more time. A relatively expensive ($135./person) intense (time spent) trip to NASA ("NASA up close tour") was cancelled. Despite cost probably would have taken it if it had not been cancelled.

Minivan tour that drove past/through a lot of neighborhoods. At the stop at Fort Charlotte, lest anyone take too long to look, the guide said "come on let's get this over with. The "Queen's Stairway," was the only other stops. Guides (drivers of the minivans seemed bored (and resentful?). The tour description of a 50 cent elevator ride up the water tower for high view of Nassau wasn't offered. Tour was disappointing. A "real activity" (others were available) would have been a better choice.
Streets at the port where ships dock are crowded with typical tourist merchandise shops. "Crowded" is a good word to describe the area near the ship(s). Makes the experience less than pleasant.

Freeport
Glass Bottom Boat Rating: 
2. Compared with Nassau, the port area in Freeport was as day is to night.: disembarkation is to an open sunny area, shops/food stands easily accessible, live (good) music playing (Singer "Matisse" is one of the Island's best). Passengers were dancing to her singing). The shops were friendly.
3. Driver of bus ("Duane") was proud of his Island, conveyed happiness while giving info about both the passing sights and the governance, history, policies (e.g., no income tax) and culture of the Island.
