We were fortunate to find on Cruise Critic that Laurie had booked a private tour of Skagway and had some space for 2-4 people. On the internet I read great reviews about Becky from Beyond Skagway tours. It was great! we went into the Yukon saw the suspension bridge and Emerald lake (you have to see it to believe it)!
It was wonderful! Shawn of Glacier Winds Charter is a great boat captain and we were lucky to see whales, orca, sea otters, sea lion and his wife Teresa is a pleasure to deal with.
I read that Island Wings was the company to fly with and that Michelle was the best. They were correct. It was one of the highlights of our Alaskan trip and I would suggest this even to people who are "white knuckle fliers" (like me). there is nothing like it. Flying close to the mountains and landing on a lake in the wilderness was an experience like no other.
