Kennedy Space Center was very interesting and worth the $50 admission just for the shuttle simulator-- however, plan to spend your entire day there as it is about 5 hours worth of material to see, and the taxi ride is $30/person-- about a 20 min drive from the port.
The beach was gorgeous and clean, but very rocky. Expect to be hounded by NCL waiters trying to push drinks, even going as far as waking people up on the beach to ask them for business.
