Suddenly, knowing that Michalangelo, Machiavelli, Marconi, Gallileo, Marconi and others were buried in St Croces Church...they all seemed real! The squares and churches and statues are amazing.

Beautiful scenic ride with a stop in Sorrento. Another good restaurant included.
For me though, Richardson's ice cream on cape Cod beats gelatto!

This port in Sicily was actually Catania. We were so beat by now we cancelled our tour of Taormina.

Ephesus Rating: We also stopped at Rhodes and Mikonos, where we could walk on our own from the ship without a booked tour, and we felt that was sufficient. In 14 days we stopped at 11 ports!
Ephesus Museum Rating: 
One last comment on excursions. I felt that all of the guides we had, though interesting, could have learned more facts by just reading on line about the places they took us. We could have done that too...before we left!
