Took a taxi to beach nearby- can't remember the name, but it is the bay that all the taxi seem to go to. We went behind a resort down the beach. Taxi was $14 RT and chair and umbrella was $10.
Known for beaches, we went to Valley Church beach (?). It was very "shelly" getting into and out the water. And they ran out of umbrellas, but there were nice trees to sit under. Taxi was $16 RT.
There is lots of shopping here, but we went to the Magens Bay Beach instead. It was up over a big hill (kind of scary riding in the open truck taxis to get there!). Again, I think it is a very common beach for taxis as there were many going to and from there. Beach was nice, water was extremely calm.
