We'd booked a private tour with Dixon tours. The cost was great - $25/p. The driver was good. But...alas it rained. So, we did not get out much. Still it's a beautiful island. We have disembarked previously at Mahogany bay and love that spot for the nearby beach as well as the uncrowded shops.
We stayed in the port area which is quite nice with a swim up pool and shops for T-shirts, trinkets, and of course - jewelry. We and got some good deals on T-shirts (about $10 each) and Mexican Vanilla. My husband and daughter took photos with a lion cub. People dressed as native dancers entertain for tips. You can also swim with Dolphins in the area between the pool and the beach.
Previously, my husband has enjoyed the diving and gave it high marks. We've also taken a taxi to another beach area where you pay an entrance fee which includes lunch and has swimmng/snorkling/jet ski rentals, etc.
