We booked an all day cave tubing excursion. It was fun but not really worth it. It took about an hour or so to get there, 30 minutes or so hike thru the jungle which was brutal on your feet with water shoes on. The tubing itself was about an hour (30 min in the caves and 30 min out) and then back to the boat via another hour in the bus. The meal that was served after was excellent but again time would have been better spent doing something else.
This was a beach day for us. We connected with a tour group in port just outside the shops near the taxi stands and got an all inclusive drink package with chairs on the beach so we took that. It was the best thing we did! 10 minutes from the ship, beds on the beach and we were served drinks and treated like royalty the whole day. We even contemplated coming here again for a few days for vacation it was so nice.
This was a party day for us. We normally go to Senior Frogs but the staff convinced us to go to their favorite place (I am not giving out that info). It started off slow but turned out to be a really fun time. Pool and beach access and a swim up bar with plenty of eye candy to look at. We all had a great time and it was just a few minutes walk from the dock.
