We took a catamaran excursion. It was pleasant to catch the breezes on a hot day. We stopped at a swimming beach, but it was crowded with vendors in boats, pushing their wares. Could hardly swim without pumping into one. Not that their wares were worthy. It just that we all wanted to swim and refresh ourselves after sitting in the sun on the catamaran. On the way back to the pier,free rum punch was offered. Unlike the ship drinks, it was very, very strong!
Beach was void loungers and umbrellas, where we were forced to use our meager ship pool towels to lay upon the sand. The water was remarkably clear and the sand smooth.
