Bar Harbor, ME was the most majestically beautiful port I've ever sailed into, rivaling Oslo, Norway. The shore trail is well worth walking, and the small town of Bar Harbor is charming and hospitable.
Ah, Quebec City! European, yet with all the conveniences, bilingual citizens, transportation, currency exchange of any US large city. We ate lunch in an off-the-main track French Restaurant, and loved every bite of the crepes. Be sure to check out the art market; we like to buy a small oil or watercolor of each place we've toured in the world, and there were many talented artists from whom to pick.
We only wish we could have spent more time in this gorgeous, historic city.
