Depending on the mooring, its easy to get into Barcelona and there is a shuttle bus from the port anyway for a couple of euro. Nothing to do in the port.
The port of Cruz for Dubrovnik has plenty to do with shops, cafe''s bars or there is a local bus that serves Dubrovnik for about 3 euro and has a frequent service, takes about 30 minutes. Or, you can walk (about 30 mins' to the La pad area for a very nice beach but can be crowded in season!
Nothing here and you will need to get a water bus into Venice..about 20 minutes or, just a short walk, a newly built 'people carrier' railway...rather like the ones at airports which one stop, 3 minutes, drops you at the end of the Grand canal...all for just 1 euro!
Port is outside Rome Civitavecchia. There is a train stn' and normally, a shuttle drops you off, a short walk takes you to the station..About 20 minutes train ride you can alight at station St Pedro...right beside the Vatican!
The mooring is right beside the town and it can easily be explored on foot....for the energetic, there is an uphill walk to the old walls..lovely place!
This is a tender for disembarkation...it can be easy or made difficult depending on the ships organization..having said that, a lovely picture postcard port and from the rail station you can visit Nice or Monte Carlo.
