We took the combination Grotto and Dunns River Falls excursion. We thoroughly enjoyed both. We also enjoyed the small group size for our tours and the guide at the falls continuously watched over the whole group to ensure our safety on the slippery climb. The views of the Falls and surrounding fauna was quite beautiful.
The Dophinaria is a beautiful facility. We spent about 45 minutes in the water with two dolphins and two handlers with a group of eight. It was quite thrilling to be so close to the dolphins. The actual swim along with the dolphin on the dolphin's belly was only about 30 seconds or maybe less - quite disappointing even though those few seconds were exhilarating. We paid for lunch through our tour - an increase from $99 to $129, so lunch cost us $30 each. We could have bought the lunch there for $15 each. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed bottled water with our Mexican lunch.
Labadee is a beautiful private beach with plenty of places to sit with a crowd or quietly under trees for a bit of shade. The bobsled was $19 for two but it was not a very long course. There were locals entertaining and asking for donations continually during their performance, but it was a nice diversion for about 30 minutes. The food was average and we wish there were covers to keep flies and other insects away. We did eat lunch early, before the crowds arrived, and lunch was packed up too early we thought because we planned to return for dessert but we were too late at 1:30.
