Fabulous scenery all of the way up with a good narrative of the history. The weather was clear and sunny. Squealing of brakes most of the way back down--a little hairy.
There was not enough time in Ketchikan to do any excursions. We did go see the Lumberjack Show and did some shopping. I would have loved to see the Misty Fjords, but there wasn't enough time without booking through the cruise line, which is a lot more expensive.
We have been to Victoria before and it's a very interesting and beautiful city. You feel like you're in England with the High Tea, etc. On this cruise, there wasn't enough time to really look around so we stayed on ship and had a relaxing last night's dinner. I wish the ship had stopped in Sitka.
