Belfast provided free buses to the down town. we took a train out to the Ulter Transportation and Folk Museum, a wonderful place and one of the best such museums in the world.
Ship docks downtown within walking distance of several attractions and museums, including a noisy Beatles show and the excellent Liverpoos museum, with three floors of artifacts, you-tube-like presentations, anthropology, history, art, etc...all fascinating and of high quality.
Ship docks on Liffey River, an $8 shuttle ride from city center, with excellent local bus service and within walking distance of National Library, Art Museum, and archeological and historical museum. Also St. Stephens Green and major shopping area (Dawson St) and Trinity Collge. Wonderful place inhabited by fascinating, friendly, talkitive folk.
