Bari - Unlike lots of other reviewers we loved Bari and it's quaint narrow streets and shops. It's a 5 minute walk from the ship so don't pay the $10 for the RC shuttle bus.
Very pleasant. lots of shops and bars and restaurants and a lovely harbour. Again, there is a local bus from the port into the old town at 1.5 Euros per person so don't pay for the shuttle.
There are 3 ways to the top. The cable car was not for me and the Donkey rides looked positively awful and a health & safety risk extraodinaire so we walked the 600 steps to the top. This is for fit folks and you have to avoid frequent stampedes of Donkeys coming in both directions (not to mention what they naturally leave behind!!). It took us a good hour to walk up and we were knackered on arrival. There are quite a few shops and bars etc. (Most of which are hanging over the cliff edge for those of you who are afraid of heights like myself). Had I known what was up there I wouldn't have bothered.
Kusadasi - This is just a myriad of Bazaars and shops albeit quite pleasant. The Turkish shop-owners try to get you in every shop but they are polite and often humorous.
Katakolo - Lovely restaurants by the sea and a few shops but very small. Don't pay for the RC excursion to Olympia. There is a train which runs very frequently at 10 euros return (45 mins each way) from the end of the main street.
