Stopped at a small family owned maple syrup bottling store with a video on maple syrup production and lots of maple products for sale. It was OK.
City Tour Rating:
It was raining so we did not stop but just drove through the Citadel. We did stop at the Victorian park which was nice, altho a bit soggy. The guide dropped us off for the "shopping" portion of our tour at 9:30 at a small city mall where the stores opened at 10 and we had to meet the bus at 10:05. We were supposed to go to the maritime museum but he just pointed it out and kept the bus moving. We did stop at the Titanic graveyard which was interesting. Not a great overall tour.
Peggy's Cove Rating:
Pretty little town. Had it not been raining we would have loved to walk around. Everyone was in the gift store / restaurant which made it tough to move around.
We had 2 days here and walked from the ship to explore the old town by ourselves on the first day. There was a shuttle but the line was very long and the walk only about 3/4 of a mile. Very easy walk.
We took the Grand Tour of Quebec on day 2 and went to the Chateau Frontenac, Ste Anne de Beaupre, Montmorency Falls and Ile d'Orleans. It was a very nice tour and included a lunch at a farm style restaurant.
