Excellent for shoe shopping, two pairs and a bag for 45 Euro's take time to walk around away from the port. Some lovely gardens and green area's in the town. Coffee is very good , we had two coffees and complimentary biscuits for 3.8 euro's. Port easy access.
Santiago de compostella is a good trip and very religious, on a previous cruise it rained..
Lisbon has lots to offer and you don"t need to take an expensive excursion. The Tourist bus stops right outside the port 15 Euro's and you can get on and off as often as you like and change from one route to another. try the trams in the town and look out for the blue tiles and lovely tiled facades.
Previously we did the walking tour, on this trip we walked along the key 2.4 miles to the Electricity museum, free entry, its an old chain grate Babcock boilers circa 1940 to 1960 and 19 MW turbine sets very well presented with working parts and open turbine blades. just how a museum should be. on the other side of the road from the electricity Museum is the Archaeological Museum, through the pedestrian underpass.
expo 98 is very good get a cab, there are lots of Museums and Galleries. Be careful of pick pockets in the tourist area's although we had no issues..usual care needs to be taken.
busy. lots to do. walked up the las Ramblas...Goudi and Dali exibition, a must see is the Camp Nue football stadia.. if its your first visit do a tour.
