Perfect weather, though it rained a little bit as we were leaving around 4:45. We got off the ship at about 12. White-sand beach and crystal clear waters. We brought our own snorkeling set and saw a stingray out by the buoys. Water was warm, and we enjoyed watching the Funnelympics and Hairy Chest contest from in the water =)

Being from NYC, we are not used to seeing fish swim around you as you step into the water.

The lunch buffet was great! We just spent the day in the water and enjoying the food/music before taking the last tender back to the ship.

Heard this place is great for shopping, but neither my boyfriend and I are shoppers. So we hit Coki Beach, where we wanted to snorkel. The taxis are great here! They took us to the beach for $10 a person, which is not bad at all. We spent about 3 hours at the beach, bought some fish food, put on our snorkeling sets, and went out to feed the fish. Lots of fun! Though a little scary when they swarm you.

I did run into a moon jellyfish though...luckily I didn't get too close to it. The taxi driver also gave us a mini-tour of the island on the way to the beach, so that was nice.

We were so excited to go to this port! We took the El Yunque rainforest drive excursion, and enjoyed it very much. Our tour guide was a riot and stopped over at the tourism center, the falls, the tower (I don't remember the name), and then off at a trail to walk around. The rainforest was absolutely beautiful, and breathtaking when viewed from the top of the tower.

We had an hour left afterward so we asked the tour guide to drop us off at Old San Juan, which he happily did. We went over to a place called Raices for mofongo, alcapurria, and chicken with rice and beans for lunch. Too expensive for us, but we didn't know where else to go and my boyfriend had a craving for alcapurria :p There was a food court across the street, which we saw AFTER we left the restaurant (boo!) We wandered around the San Cristobal fort area and saw a couple of iguanas on our way to Old San Juan.

We enjoyed our excursion here. Wished we could have stayed past 3pm, though, and wished we had eaten somewhere cheaper, instead. I really wanted one of those fresh coconuts but we didn't have enough time to look for one, sadly.

LOVED Grand Turk, and again, beautiful weather to boot. We did the reef and rays tour, where we were able to swim with, and touch sharks and stingrays. Great tour for the $56/person we paid. The sharks and stingrays were gentle and they let you touch them. When we went to the stingray cove, our tour guides let us touch and kiss the stingrays, and then gave us a "stingray massage" (lol!). Another gorgeous island, and when we were on the beach we did a little snorkeling on our own.

The only downside? My boyfriend got stung by a jellyfish on the beach :/
